巴爾尼巴比大陸(Balnibarbi )毀滅期

The legendary first paramount chief of Rapa Nui is Hotu Matu‘a, the first King/ ariki mau("supreme chief" or "king") of Rapa Nui was the chief lived on Marae Renga on a region of Balnarbarbi. Balnarbabi god fortold the king of that region about the destruction of balnarbarbi, Hotu Matu‘a sail many times to look for a good land to settled.. one day, A priest named Hau-Maka had a dream in which his spirit traveled to a far country, to help look for new land for King Hotu Matu'a. The priest Hau-Maka flew out to sea and traveled to the Mata ki te rangi ('Eyes that look to the sky). and he called Te Pito ‘o te Kāinga, which means "the center of the earth". When Hau-Maka woke, Hau-Maka appeared to Hotu Matu‘a. he told the King. The King then ordered seven men to travel to the island from Hiva, Sending seven scouts to investigate. , Hotu Matu‘a embraced his dream and awaited the return of his scouts. After eating, planting yams, and resting, the seven scouts found the land and returned to Hiva home to tell of the good news. Hotu Matu‘a took a large crew along with his family and everything they needed to survive in the new land.
